The day will start bright with temperatures quickly rising to summer-like values, but we all know that stable, fine weather is uncharacteristic for Mai. During the day, cumulus clouds will form and may produce a few scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Ischgl Austria
Ischgl is one of Austria's most popular ski resorts in the winter season and the village of 1,500 inhabitants rises to a capacity of ten times that number in busy periods. Ischgl is located at just under 1400m in the western part of the Tyrol not far from the border with the Vorarlberg. The Paznaun valley is a narrow and spectacular access route from the rest of the Tyrol to the east. To the west is the smaller ski resort of Galtür (and the route over the Silvretta in the summer while the mountains are located to the north and south.
