Vienna Austria
Vienna is the capital city of Austria and is situated in a low-lying bowl to the east of the more mountainous areas of the country. To the east and south lie the flatter lands on the other side of the Danube towards Slovakia and around the Neusiedlersee, to the north the Danube valley and the hilly area up to the Czech border, and to the west, the Wienerwald. A quarter of all Austrians live in the relatively mild climate in the Greater Vienna area.
