Kitzbühel Ski Conditions (winter only)
Kitzbühel Austria
Kitzbühel is one of the Tyrol's most historic and visited mountain resorts. The town of 8,500 inhabitants is located near a valley junction at an altitude of just under 800m at the south-eastern edge of the province near the border to the province of Salzburg. The route south leads into the mountain scenery over Pass Thurn while to the east and west the ski areas of the Hahnenkamm and Kitzbüheler Horn dominate the skyline. The road to the north heads to St Johann in Tirol or north and then west into the Brixental.
