Schladming Austria
Schladming is the top ski resort in Styria, and is rated by some as one of the best in Austria. The town of 4,500 inhabitants is located in the Ennstal at an altitude of just over 750m. To the north are the high peaks of the Dachstein and to the south the Lower Tauern range. The border with the province of Salzburg lies to the west, while the route towards Graz and the rest of Styria heads off to the east.
