With the dominant airflow swinging to the northeast now, humid air from the Baltic Sea will move in. The day will bring us no sunshine, but occasional snowfall, particularly between midday and the evening. Temperatures will stay just below freezing during the day.
Trend
Friday will bring nice and dry weather. Unfortunately on Saturday, humid and cold air will once again push into our region.

Salzburg Austria
Salzburg is located at just over 400m in altitude in a bowl on the northern side of the Alps. Salzburg's low situation in a fertile valley and with close access to the mountains and trade routes meant that it was quickly settled (archaeological remains discovered date back to the Stone Age). To the north lie the hills and meadows across the border in Germany, to the east is the popular tourist destination of the Salzkammergut lakes and mountains, to the south the river valley rises to the nearby higher mountain resorts, and to the west are the mountains around the German resort town of Berchtesgaden.
