Forecast

Even if the cold front is not very strong, the temperatures will not recover that quickly. Under the influence of a weak high pressure area, the weather may be quite dull, particularly in the morning. During the day, it will be at times fair, at times cloudy, but mostly dry.

Trend

For tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, the weather maps promise real “Sunday weather”. We can therefore look forward to plenty of sunshine.

Salzburg Austria

Salzburg is located at just over 400m in altitude in a bowl on the northern side of the Alps. Salzburg's low situation in a fertile valley and with close access to the mountains and trade routes meant that it was quickly settled (archaeological remains discovered date back to the Stone Age). To the north lie the hills and meadows across the border in Germany, to the east is the popular tourist destination of the Salzkammergut lakes and mountains, to the south the river valley rises to the nearby higher mountain resorts, and to the west are the mountains around the German resort town of Berchtesgaden.
