We are still under the influence of strong high pressure. Furthermore, very dry air masses will arrive from the east above 900 to 1100m. However underneath, the fog will persist, and the weak December sun will have difficulty in breaking through! Here it will be sunny and dry.
The next few days will not bring any significant changes in the weather.

Obertauern Ski Conditions (winter only)
Obertauern is a settlement at the top of a mountain pass in the province of Salzburg. It is best known as a ski area - the altitude of 1730m means that it can boast one of the highest starting points for a winter resort in Austria - and as a centre for high altitude training and testing. Obertauern is split between two local authorities (the border runs literally through the resort) and is accessed via a road to the north in the direction of Salzburg and the south in the direction of Carinthia.
