On Friday summer is returning! An area of high pressure has settled over our region and will bring us plenty of sunshine and rising temperatures. Only a very few clouds will be visible in an otherwise blue sky.
Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow we will see a mix of sunshine, clouds and locally thundery showers. From Monday we can look forward to perfect weather: it will be sunny and dry with temperatures still rising. The next thunderstorms will not occur before Wednesday.

Obertauern Ski Conditions (winter only)
Obertauern is a settlement at the top of a mountain pass in the province of Salzburg. It is best known as a ski area - the altitude of 1730m means that it can boast one of the highest starting points for a winter resort in Austria - and as a centre for high altitude training and testing. Obertauern is split between two local authorities (the border runs literally through the resort) and is accessed via a road to the north in the direction of Salzburg and the south in the direction of Carinthia.
